The Marina
More than 60 years ago, Robert Goineau, the founder of Le Nautique, embarked on a journey to
realize a dream he had cherished for nearly two decades: establishing a marina and a restaurant in
the heart of Old Saint-Jean. Over the years, the business has flourished, evolving into a must-visit
destination in the region, deeply rooted in the lives of both locals and tourists alike—. A place where
families and friends love to gather. In the past years, his daughter Luce has been managing the
family business, along with her husband Pierre and their children.
In 2022, the Marina Le Nautique changed hands. Charmed by this iconic location in Saint-Jean-sur-
Richelieu, the new owners, Simon Jean-Joseph and Sylvain Glarmet, took over. Coming directly from
the Caribbean where they operate four establishments, including one of the largest marinas in the
Caribbean, they aim to continue the legacy of this legendary marina, bringing their 30 years of
expertise in marina management.
It’s all about continuing the legacy. That’s what we want to emphasize with the team. We don’t forget those who planted the tree. Our goal is to make it grow with new branches while strengthening its roots.

Le Nautique
Nestled on the banks of the Richelieu River, in the heart of Old Saint-Jean, Le Nautique enjoys an
ideal location for exploring the waterways of the region. It’s the perfect place to make a stopover,
with or without a boat. Boat enthusiasts anchor for the season or for a day trip and take advantage
of the many services the marina has to offers.
Food enthusiasts can enjoy themselves at the brand-new restaurant and his new chef : Les Berges de
Saint-Jean. They will discover a french menu, made with fresh and local products, with an
atmosphere evoking the cozy ambiance of a traditional French bistro.
Whether you’re a fan of quality meats, looking to savor a platter of oysters, or enjoy grilled fish by
the river’s edge, Les Berges is the place to reunite, share, laugh, and create memories.
It’s the largest and oldest terrace in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu!
Beautiful riverrside Terrace
Overlooking the Richelieu River, this sunny terrace offers an idyllic setting to enjoy the weather,
