More than 60 years ago, Robert Goineau, the founder of Le Nautique, embarked on a journey to realize a dream he had cherished for nearly two decades: establishing a marina and a restaurant in the heart of Old Saint-Jean. Over the years, the business has flourished, evolving into a must-visit destination in the region, deeply rooted in the lives of both locals and tourists alike—. A place where families and friends love to gather. In the past years, his daughter Luce has been managing the family business, along with her husband Pierre and their children. In 2022, the Marina Le Nautique changed hands. Charmed by this iconic location in Saint-Jean-sur- Richelieu, the new owners, Simon Jean-Joseph and Sylvain Glarmet, took over. Coming directly from the Caribbean where they operate four establishments, including one of the largest marinas in the Caribbean, they aim to continue the legacy of this legendary marina, bringing their 30 years of expertise in marina management.
